Stu & Livi, NF2 Twins & meningioma survivors.
Now that the MLB season has officially launched, we are stepping up to the plate for our vital mission: Striking out meningioma brain tumors once and for all!
We are pitching in to raise $50,000 for our MVP researcher, Dr. Long-Sheng Chang. With NIH funding being cut, Dr. Chang needs our lineup to stay in the game.
He is currently working on two game-changing plays:
- The 3D Scouting Report: Creating “mini-tumors” (organoids) to test thousands of drugs quickly, finding the perfect “swing” for each patient’s unique meningioma tumor.
- The Double Play: Testing a powerful drug combo (Brigatinib + Ixazomib) designed to shrink and eliminate even the most aggressive meningioma tumors.
We are playing for our Fearless Fighter, Livi, who has endured 13 craniotomies and is currently battling multiple brain and spinal tumors.
As her mom Jenny says: “Livi may have multiple meningiomas, but they don’t have her.”
